1. Obtaining personal information

Users do not register on the BestIn Platform. The following information is obtained in relation to users

IP address;

Google Analytics;
Geolocation and dwell time;
Interaction with external social networks and platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Google+;
Clicking-through.

2. Use of personal information

The BestIn Platform also uses users’ personal information for non-nominal statistical processing, with a view to producing reports, studies and/or statistical analyses, without any possibility of identifying users individually. This data processing and the development of models based on this information may be carried out by external suppliers.

The reports, studies and/or statistical analyses produced on the basis of the information collected by the BestIn Platform may be made available, free of charge or for a consideration, to third parties, without any possibility of individual identification of users.

If Just Media, Lda is legally obliged to cooperate with judicial or administrative authorities and has to disclose to these authorities the personal information of the users of the Platform, it will only provide the information requested or that which is justified within the scope of the judicial or administrative process. The users’ personal information may also be provided to the official authorities as part of a judicial or administrative process if this proves necessary to remove or reduce the criminal or civil liability of Just Media, Lda or is convenient for the defence of its rights.

The BestIn Platform is intended to be used only by persons of legal age, so if a person under the age of 18 enters personal information on the BestIn Platform, this information will only be used to contact that person directly and inform them that they cannot use the BestIn Platform as a minor.

Just Media reserves the right at all times to change this Privacy Policy, at its sole discretion, if it deems it necessary. If changes to the Privacy Policy seriously affect personal information already obtained from users of the BestIn Platform, Just Media will take such steps as it deems reasonable and appropriate to alert such users of the changes to the Privacy Policy.

3. Rights of the Data Subjects

Users of the BestIn platform, as well as the entities advertised on it, have and may exercise the following rights regarding their personal data:

Right of erasure – the data subject has the right to have the data no longer processed, to have it erased under certain conditions if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, as well as in the event that the data subjects withdraw their consent, if the data subjects do not authorize the processing of such data, or if the data processing does not comply with the provisions of the law.

Right to limitation of processing – the holder of personal data has the right to have his/her data limited to what is essential for the purpose of the processing.

Right to data portability (data transfer) – the data subject has the right to receive his/her data or to request the transmission of his/her data to another entity that will become the new controller of his/her personal data (only if technically possible).

Right to complain to the respective supervisory authority – the data subject has the right to complain not only to the data controller of Just Media Lda, but also to the supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
