The renowned Thai chef Prin Polsuk comes to Portugal, at the invitation of JNcQUOI Asia, to present a selection of exclusive dishes available only during the “Thai Week” which runs from the 2nd to the 6th of February at the restaurant on Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon.
Renowned for the way in which he reinterprets the most traditional Thai recipes using oriental ingredients that are unusual these days, Chef Prin Polsuk is responsible for the Samrub Samrub restaurant in Bangkok, voted the 31st best Asian restaurant in 2022 and the 75th best restaurant in the world.
At JNcQUOI Asia, chef Prin Polsuk will try Grilled Oyster with Curry (€17), Grilled Tiger Prawns with Coconut Sauce (€29), Lamb Rib Salad with Cucumber (€26), Duck Breast Salad with Lychees (24€) and Fish soup with fermented soy sauce (19€) as starters. For the main dish, the choices can be Tiger Prawns with black pepper sauce (48€), Grilled cod with sweet fish sauce (32€), Lobster sour curry (64€) or Beef curry with ”Kao Soi” noodles (31€). Thai waffle (11€) and sesame biscuit with coconut ice cream (11€) are Chef Prin Polsuk’s suggestions for dessert.
In addition to the special menu developed by Chef Prin Polsuk, there will be a show of traditional dances every day, between 21:00 and 22:00, during Thai Week.
